Epimediums are currently enjoying a revival it seems impossible that these lovely plants can give excellent ground cover even in fairly dry shade whilst producing wonderful orchid-like flowers, but they do. Beautiful wood-landers.

I just discovered these lovely plants last year bought three different varieties for in wood, youngianum (roseum),versicolor 'Sulphureum' and perralchicum (Frohnleiten) can't wait till spring this year :-)

They are lovely....and just look at the way the lantern flowers look down....they maybe would suit my shady dry area........
