yes this is the bark from the Prunus Serula tree, as the tree gets older and bigger the better the bark looks, in my opinion.

The Tibetan Cherry (Prunus serrula var.tibetica) is my favourite tree, for the amazing colour range in the bark. Fabulous pic! :-)
