Yes, this Angel's Trumpet blooms very well in winter next to the Bontanical Building in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA.

Beautiful, we couldn't get them to grow like that here. The only place I have seen them growing 'insitu' is in Greece and even there it was nothing like this one!

Some areas of Central Coastal California Brugmansia - Angel's Trumpet trees can grow to more than 30 ft (10m) tall. Here's one here a couple of miles from where I live which is 25ft (7.6m) tall (it's the link below).
We have a much milder subtropical climate here in San Diego than in all of Greece. Our latitude is at about 32 degrees. Our temps in winter are much, much warmer than Greece. My coastal inland climate is very similar to Alexandria, Egypt; however, the winter heatwaves here can get warmer than there because of our very hot, dry Santa Ana Winds.
