The only things that were looking remotely colourful at the local garden centre this week! Poor wee things - still at 3 for the price of 2 ...who am I to resist - I am an Aberdonian!!

Fine thanks Yorkshire - the snow has finally gone today - but we are promised more next week....eek! How about you folk - any signs of Spring down your way?
Even our snowdrops haven't really appeared yet - and I usually have some out for Xmas!!
Yes - ever the Aberdonian...I couldn't resist these colourful little things ...they were £1.99 each and three for two...sounded good to me! Nothing else to buy and couldn't come out of a GC empty handed now could I!!

A great bargain - and larger than I thought they'd be, Alz. :-))) They make a pretty group.

I'm still waiting to see a Snowdrop but the Crocus' are starting and I got an Iris today. It was a lovely surprise.

Plenty snowdrops now GG.....I found a whole lot up the back garden a couple of days ago ....pretty little posies of them under the old pear tree where two of my old labradors are buried. Today I found little drifts of them out in the front garden....and the start of my "celandine mat of menace" as I call it....dratted things are ever so bright and cheerful but oh how they take over!!!!

My back garden is just starting to get the sun for an hr in the bottom corner. I've only got a little forecourt at the front which does get the sun, so I'm rotating the tubs so they get some sun. Some of them fit like window boxes on the bay window. I'm in process of setting up my growing station for the summer bedding..

I got my first gazania seedlings in 4 days and some Asters in 5. Gotta watch they don't grow too fast.

How pretty. I bought one years ago and she just sat in the pot looking sad but since planting her in the direct sun of Videiras she has flowered and grown like a beauty!!
