Absolutely love them! Mine are recovering from major snail and slug damage along with my Pachystachys lutea - Golden Shrimp plants.
My Crossandra infundibuliformis - Orange Firecracker plants will start to bloom in a couple of weeks...they bloom from March through December. I bet yours bloom all year there, right?

Yep ... you're right there Andy ... these do flower for pretty much all of the year. So far I haven't found any pests that are attracted to them much ... very lucky.

Bernieh:
You're so lucky! Here the snails/slugs love most plants in the Acanthaceae family! Winter is the worst time for snail/slugs...they eat almost everything in sight at night. : > )
