It almost looks like Aloe ferox. However, the flowers are usually bright red/orange on Aloe ferox.

there was a ferox there...ive lost my one again.......

Sorry to hear about your Aloe ferox!

Aloe ferox is one of the more tender species of Aloe. It really doesn't like freezing temps and will not tolerate snow.

it dosent like cold sheds either...never mind im sure to find another one...;-)

i think i have now learnt that its one of those plants that just HAS to move into the house in the winter...we live and learn..;-)
