Very rosy....not sure if it's a male Chaffinch....I think a Bullfinch has a black cap.............

Yes you will ! Sometimes the differences between similar birds are very subtle, but there's loads of info at your fingertips on the internet, or post a photo on GOY and someone might be able to help. I find flower identification far more difficult - all those Geraniums !!!
