Wow Amy. Thanks for this pic, I've been wanting to see how they look set in the garden. So will they die down in a few weeks and come back next year?

Lovely Amy, love these but never grown them do they seed around or spread by runners?

I really like these and wonder how they would cope in clay soil. It might be worth a try.

Yes Dawn they will die down after they have flowered and come back year after year ....
I believe they have little bulbs that grow on the sides of the parent bulb and spread around Kathy , I started off with one plant actually you can only see a small area here , they are growing all over this area some off them a huge distance from where the original one was planted , they have even crossed that gravel path which you can just see and are growing on the other side of it .. .. I think they have little legs ..LOL...
If anybody would like a plant when they have died down , please let me know ... ..

Yes please, Amy, I would like to try. I have a shady area at the side of my bungalow and they might like it there.

They look good. I like this little one. So bright in early spring.

Hi Amy, did you set them originally as bulbs? I was just wondering when they are set, in Autumn I would think.

Hi Dawn , you can move them anytime after they have finished flowering , they have a lot of top leaf , I think we put our original one in round about March / April ... I will send you a plant if you would like one .. .. :o)
