Lovely at any time - the new growth is silvery and gold. It flowers and fruits, too.

The flowers and fruit are tiny. It's the wrong time but I'll see if I can find a berry!

I wonder if some do and some don't? Our local is called silverberry, little silver flowers, not easy to notice, but the silver berries in fall stay long after the leaves. I don't often hear of elaeagnus being mentioned for their fruit or flowers. :-) Such beautiful leaves!

The flowers on this are tiny and a sort of dirty white colour but the berries are silvery.
