This bird aviary is almost 70 feet / 21 meters tall, with 3 levels...and is one of many large bird aviaries at the San Diego Zoo. All aviaries are made of strong wire mesh. The San Diego Zoo has the largest collection of birds species in the U.S. Photo taken from the second level, March 6, 2010.
