Purple Gem potted up with a cheerful viola. There are pink fondant hyacinths in the pot too.

I love it!
It should put on quite a show when the hyacinths start blooming..
I just love the little dirt remnants around the edge of the pot! It looks like one of my experiments that I threw together to see what happens!
Most of the time, I'll clean up the pot, but sometimes, I'll just let it look like a freshly re-potted plant for the "character"..
THAT little pot has some great character! I just love it! New life in a new pot..

the muck is courtesy of birds/squirrels scratting around the pot. I have had this pot and 4 othersfor about 5 yrs now. I usually use them for small bulbs and violas or cyclamens. Thankfully they have survived the frosts.
