It's bad enough along the pathway but there's no path on the other side, just a 12" plinth with no railing. Like you I'm very nervous on heights. If anyone is interested, each pillar is built from the same level of rock so the end ones are as long as the centre. Modern thingyscopes have revealed that the pillars are within 1/000 th of an inch in line. Not bad considering that they only had a plumb line when it was built.
