Yes San, it's no fun turning an alarming shade of blue in the midst of taking a great close-up like this, Someone told me it could be detrimental to my health, mind you, they haven't seen me with a tripod yet, now That, could bring tears to the eye!! lol {~(( Ouch! lol x
23 Mar, 2010
lol flori, ive just ordered tripod off ebay, i best be carefull :o))
23 Mar, 2010
You should be fine with your three-legged friend San, me, on the other hand........:o(( !!
25 Mar, 2010
its arrived and we laughed when i opened the tiny box lolits about 6 inches high when legs are opened hahah, its a table one, thought it was cheap, well it helps when sat at table but cant stand it on floor, i would have to lay down :o))
25 Mar, 2010
What do they say about it not being the size......San, but what you do with it? lol. Am wishing you success, whatever strange positions you may find yourself in with it! :~)) Looking forward to the pics!!
25 Mar, 2010
lol flori i just use it on table when inside and at least it stops me shaking when taking bird pics ;o)

All you have to do, San, is wave a meal worm on a piece of string at them, and I'm sure they'd happily pose for you! I would, though maybe not for a meal worm come to think of it lol. Seriously though, and I do know how to be serious, now and again, I also have a medical condition that affects my hands, causing shakes, and it can be really annoying. You can get something called a monopod, it's a single leg tripod, that can help when taking pics, to steady your hand, should you want to go down that particular road, just a thought my friend. Whatever you take, I will enjoy San!! :o))
25 Mar, 2010
thanx flori sorry about your hands must be frustrating at time for you, will look that up and see what they are like :o)
25 Mar, 2010
Like most things, you are only restricted by how much you allow yourself to be, and I am one tough old boot, so won't let it hold me back too much San lol. It's truly amazing how people adapt, we really are quite an amazing race! :~))
25 Mar, 2010
your right flori my ex had really bad stroke at 22 and cant use left arm and limps, so he went from being a chef to retrain as social worker and now is a manager, he never gave up, goes to gym and always doing something in his new house, puts me to shame lol
25 Mar, 2010
I sometimes think it's the bad stuff that happens makes us the people we are meant to be. You never know your own strength till clouds gather San. Good on your Ex, am glad he could piece his life back together after such a dreadful thing could happen to someone so incredibly young.
25 Mar, 2010
yes it does make you a stronger person when something bad happens flori, i know that but thats another story :o)) life is for living x
25 Mar, 2010
Couldn't agree with you more San, that and gardening and of course, Goying. lol :o))
26 Mar, 2010
lol yes of course :o))

Lovely close-up Sandra I have been trying a few close up pics with my new camera now that I have found the setting on it!
I have not grown any chrysanths in the garden before have you?. I know that the earwigs go for them in the garden.:-)
29 Mar, 2010
hope you get some nice shots with the new camera richard,, i havent grown then , but ive heard they do attract earwigs a bit like sunflowers,so if thats the case i would plant as far from house as possible lol
29 Mar, 2010
I have grown sunflowers before Sandra but not had any earwigs I must be one of the lucky ones :-)
29 Mar, 2010
