This area is for plants. There used to many palms in this area before all plants were taken out a couple of weeks ago.

I'm hoping it will be very effective for shading my plants. I'm so tired of sun-burned plants in spring, summer and fall...and sometimes even in winter.

Well, with the help of my father I was able to build this structure. My father has an engineering background.

that looks great....hard work done..now for the best bit..the planting...

I have to paint it, build up ornamental bricks around the sides and back then fill with good soil...then it's time to plant. : > )

it will look nice with a raised bed there...
