Pottygardener, yes you are right a purpose built rabbit hutch designed by me and made for me by my dad. My daughter was given 2 'girl' rabbits by her teacher, an old friend of mine. The 'girls' lived together and then had 6 babies!! !!! So needed bigger accomodation lol It is huge. We gave most of them away. Mum & dad sadly died and we have 2 of the babies NOT IN THE SAME HUTCH! One lives outside the other is a house rabbit as he is eperleptic. My dog Magic keeps an eye on him, she knows when he will fit!! and she starts winning. German sheppards are so clever.

Milky it might seem that I have bags of room but once I get into the swing of things I always need more.

I have heard of dogs doing that with people, but never another animal. Another example of how amazing dogs are... :-)))

I totally agree. When the twins were babies one of them had trouble walking & should used to have small fits. When she got 'stuck' walking my old german sheperd Shelia would very gently nudge her in the back as if to say try again!! When she had a fit my dog would lay down beside her and whine until I came to her. Oh how I miss that dog.

I also had a cat at one time and the dog used to feed her milk from her breast, needless to say the cat got fat!!!!
