Forest Bell Bush is a great flowering shrub. I have one in my front yard...which hasn't bloomed yet. Photo taken at San Diego Zoo on March 25, 2010.

Yes, I love this South African native. I got a very small cutting from a very tall (12 foot/ 3.7 meters tall) shrub in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco 15 years ago. I've made several cuttings from that original cutting-grown plant.

Thanks!

Yes, the flowers are very delicate looking...but they're pretty tough. : > )

This shrub is very easy to grow in semi-shade and shaded areas.
