They look good to me

Looks like buds to me.....perhaps they are waiting for the weather to warm up before popping out more....

I do hope so. I waited so long for the tree :)

Certainly look like buds to me too, I have been waiting for the buds on my Camelia to open for what seems an age, noticed yesterday that lots of the buds have fallen off, devastated;0((

That's such a shame, PP. I have lost lots of my white camellia buds but some have opened as well. I am so pleased about my rowan tree. I think I am watching it too closely so don't see much change. Perhaps I should ignore it for a few days :)
