very pretty, is it quite hardy?

4 Apr, 2010

Yes - I have two and they've both reappeared and are in flower. They seem to flower twice a year!

'SOMETHING' has eaten some of the flowers this morning! I do hope that pesky rabbit isn't back! Grrrrr.....

Rabbit pie for dinner? I support ALL recycling, lol.

Definitely! I shall set Henry on him if I see him around.................

Oh dear....run Peter!!
such a pretty primula...our weather has flip-flopped again and it is just 7 degrees above frost...so my lonely little primula still sits on the windowsill!

Is that cold for you in spring, Lori - or would you normally expect higher temperatures?

9 Apr, 2010

It's hard to know what to expect these days, Barbara! but no April is always a fickle month...and temps above zero are to the good! It could just as easily dip below freezing... I've seen snow in every month but July, August and Sept!.... but I don't want to take a chance with the little primula...I know I'm coddling it.

I don't blame you, Lori. I'd do the same. What colour are the flowers?

10 Apr, 2010

Flowers will be yellow!...

Pretty. Make sure you post a photo of the prized primula, won't you! :-)))
