Corydalis solida Penza Strain - 2010

How unusual,lovely shades :)

Would it thrive in dry shade

Megan - mine are planted in clay improved with garden compost so it would be worth trying

Thanks, I have clay too but gradually improving it with home made compost.

There is masses of C.solida in the woodland garden at Kew.It's considered a weed by the gardeners who work there, but I like it. It looks good with the Chionadoxa. I'll try to remember to post a picture on my next blog.

They are lovely plants - I'm a bit worried about digging them up by accident, though...do you mark where yours are?

I just tuck them somewhere which will be covered later in the season - next to fuchsias for example
