Under the weeping pear tree.

Under the weeping pear tree.

The dicentra spectabile is in bud, and the pulmonaria and primroses are in full bloom.

Thanks. :-))

Lovely but is the pulmonaria a pain to control?

12 Apr, 2010

Funnily enough, when I took the photo, it struck me how much two small pieces had spread! There's space for them up there, so that's fine - next year I might be able to move some further under the tree.

Beware!

I have Pulmonaria elsewhere in the garden - it's well-behaved! Is yours invasive, Toto?

12 Apr, 2010

mine are well behaved too. a few seedlings but that is all.

I wonder which one Toto has got hold of? Interesting!

Mine was invasive but a nice drink of Round Up sorted it out.

Oh dear. An 'ex-pulmonaria'. I was looking around some of mine yesterday, as one does, (lol) and I found some seedlings! I'll be potting them up when they're a bit bigger. May I enquire which pulmonaria it was that is now an 'ex' Toto?

You may certainly enquire Spritz but I refuse to tell you as I don't know. Another case of the missing label.

Oh - how I know that! My GOY list helps, but as I inherited things and lost labels for others, I have many plants that have to remain anonymous. :-((

As it happens I posted a pic of a plant that you gave to me last year just to show you how well it is surviving. The problem was that someone had broken in and stolen the label so I didn't know what it was called. Fortunately Andrew came to the rescue but didn't know the particular variety so if you could take a look and pass on the relevant information I would be vary grateful. Thank you again for sending it to me. I'll be posting a pic of the geranium you sent to me a little later when it is in flower. It is a really healthy plant and has developed very well. Again, thank you.

I'll go and take a look AT ONCE, Toto. Sorry I missed the photo!

Toto - I can't find it. Could you point me in the right direction please??

It's top line, fouth from the left on page 1 of my photos. It's green with a white flower.
