What a great photo, you must have a large zoom on your camera to have not disturbed her.

She must feel safe behind all those thorns....

That's wonderful Toto , I took a pic. of our Thrush ( notice I say our Thrush ) today sitting on her nest , I'm not sure yet if it's clear enough for the screen !

Looks like a Hawthorn hedge and it does say if any one is interested to place rose stem with the thorns on top of bird boxs in the garden on rspb site.

Thank you all. My camera only has a ten times optical zoom but I stood well back to take the pic so as not to disturb her, I cropped the resulting pic so as just to show her on the nest. That's why the quality is not that great but I thought that some of you would like to see her. She's actually nesting in a bramble at work but I haven't told anyone else, just in case.

What you talking about Toto the quality of the photo is wonderful silly Toto: O ), I don't blame you not telling any one at work.

Thank you Milky, Lincslass and Deida. I would only ever tell anyone who I could be 100% sure would stay a respectable distance away and not disturb any bird and who would not go telling everyone else they know.

Good photo Toto. The blackbirds are feeding their young here and are working their socks off!!!

Thanks Lindak I've seen others collecting food for their young too and this one be by now but I won't know as I keep away from her nest so as not to disturb her.
