New growth on Gunnera

Well done getting this through the winter, I lost mine some years ago to the weather.

I've always loved these,especially the new growth but they get far too big for my small garden.

You could try gunnera magellanica, Toto.

I had one Toto and my garden is much smaller than yours.

How big does magellanica grow please Wagger. I doubt yours could be much smaller than mine Sixpence, mines very small.

Don't know if this information will help you, about where to plant and how it grows low or high to the position you plant it in.

Spread - 30cm. Height - 2cm. A real dwarf, Toto, lol. BBC plant finder site says : At only 2cm (1in) high, this mat-forming perennial is the total opposite of its giant cousin Gunnera manicata, whose huge rhubarb-like leaves stand up to 1.8m (6ft) high. A good choice for ground cover in a damp, partially shaded position, it is grown for its rounded toothed leaves which are often tinged with bronze when young.
