Very pretty cat, ours has decimated the newly planted Nepeta almost to the ground ! I thought they were supposed to roll in it, not eat it ! lol

Cat Diary Entry:

Day 983 of my captivity.

My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects.

They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed mush or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength. The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape.

In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet.

Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a "good little hunter" I am. B******s!

There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of "allergies." I must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage.

Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow --but at the top of the stairs.

I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches.

The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously stupid.

The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicate with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe. For now . . .

She is si sweet.

Still laughing at the cat diary entry, NOW I understand the ways of our cat ! We've had the mice dragged into the kitchen, we've shut her in another room when daughter-in-law visits due to sneezing brought on by cats. She walks as though she's glued to us when it's food time and many times has nearly tripped us over. I still say, if there's re-incarnation, I'm coming back as a well loved cat ! : o ) ) )

Wagger, it's 1.30 am, (yes I know I'm very sad! lol) and I can't see for the laughter and the tears of mirth in my eyes,this is SO going on my Favourites, the funniest thing I have ever read!!! Have you ever read a book by Martin Howard called The Bad dog's diary? I received it as a birthday gift last year, and it so reminds me of your cat's cattitude! Anyone who owns a dog would totally relate to this book, as it is seen from the Dog's point of view~couldn't recommend it enough, it's very very funny, and has a follow up sequel! Your post just reminded me of it~absolutely brilliant Wagger!!!!!!! :~))))))))X

I've found a way of sorting the housework to give me more time in the garden.

1. Open a new file on your computer.

2. Name it 'Housework.'

3. Send it to the RECYCLE BIN.

4. Empty the RECYCLE BIN.

5. Your computer will ask you,

'Are you sure you want to delete Housework permanently ?'

6. Calmly answer, 'Yes,' and press mouse button firmly...
