First babies on the pond

Looked out early this morning and Mother Duck was shepherding a brood of 5-6 little ducklings along the edge of the pond. They were not behaving well and only two stayed near enough to Mum for the photograph :)

Maybe mum duck is the one who had all those admirers a while back Gee? That's why the kids are out of control. Has to have eyes in the back of her head.
