Went to the nursery for a look round today.... saw a star magnolia like Jacques...and was debating about buying Aubrieta (they had white, pink and purple-pink) bought a clematis and some lavender instead... should have gone back for the Aubrieta..but Terry wanted to get going... (He suffers terribly when he has to come with me to the nursery!!)

There are some lovely shades Lori...luckily we both get completely "lost " when we visit nurseries.Sometimes think they should provide bed and breakfast for the likes of us !

Excellent shot, we have a Bee Fly in the garden usually about 3 pm, quite fascinating, impossible to photograph as it wont keep still lol

My hubby really tries! He loves the garden...but he's not a gardener,,,, So when I have to drag him along to the garden centre it's like he's doing penance... and as a result I do my "getting lost" when he's not with me!! Now, what a great idea~~ nursery b&b....! Think of it...check in after work Friday afternoon... checkout garden lighting strategies in the evening....get up Saturday and just "get lost"looking at garden features for the day..Sunday...buy up your whole wish list..and come home Sunday afternoon to garden! fees for accommodation would have to be modest...so that the patrons could spend all their brass on garden features and plants. Some enterprising person should pick up on that very good idea!!

Will be on the lookout for Bee Flies Dotty...fascinating creatures.....
Just thought of a flaw in our plan Lori ! Who would look after our own gardens whilst we were away ? Lol.........

wellll.... you may be right. I got carried away anticipating the return home with all those wonderful discoveries to plan and plant...lol.
