The Lamium is a thug - but when it flowers, it is attractive!

Yes, it is - but it won't stay put - it gets amongst other plants....:-(((

Oh this is the spreader, was warned about this one in the paper.......

Really? How interesting! They were right to add a warning. I saw it for sale at a 'good' Nursery the other day - no warning on the label, which surprised me a bit - it could have said 'spreader', at least!

Yes it was in the gardening section of the Telegraph, was worried it was the one we had bought last year, as I am sure it said does not spread, this one is pink, just in a very difficult place to photograph, as usual.

I don't think any of the others are invasive - I like them as ground cover, but they don't send out 'runners' like L. galeobdolon does.

Shame really as it is so attractive.......

Yes, it is, the leaves AND the flowers. I wish it would behave itself. I'm going to have another 'go' at the area on the bank and try to reduce the population a bit more - when the weather allows me to!
