I couldn't bear to pull out any self-sown plants so the garden looks a bit wild here - but I love leaving things to nature a little as it brings in so much wildlife. I like the accidental effect of the outlines of the planned garden becoming slighlty overgrown. It shows you are not really in charge but just shaping!

I agree with you - untill they start crowding a particular new treasure and then I get ruthless, but your garden looks lovely - its nice to let plants have their head a little.

Hi there, I am just embarking on my first garden project. I love the natural look too, but my garden has recently grown rather too wild! Can I ask you what stones you have used for the paving? It is exactly the look I would like to create for the paved area of my garden.

lovely... i have a lot of self sown plants too...i just love a mixture & as you say leaving things to nature !
