Wow that is beautiful, love the bronze leaves and white blossom, I had one way back in the 80s and loved it!

I'm glad you like it Carole , I love it ..
This is strange the way we are doubling up on messages , it happened to me the other day and one Dawn sent to me as well , is it something to do with the changes and updating that has been going on ?

Amy I have ben having problems over the last three weeks, unable to assess Home page and problems uploading pictures etc Peter has been trying to help to no avail, hopefully it will sort itself out soon

Don't you find that whenever anything is suppose to be changing for the better it never is Carole , my computer was taken in several weeks ago because they told me it needed updating to make it faster , they charged me £ 100 .. and it isn't any faster , in fact I think it's worse that it was ... you can't win can you :o(

This is gorgeous Amy, although I dont recall having seen one in the flesh, so to speak. How tall do they grow?
Hope the site probs sort themselves out soon, my broadband is soooo sloooooow here, I never know if its me or the site.

They can grow up to 14ft Dawn , I usually trim the top off this so that the blossom is where I can see it ... I like the colour of the leaves when they are new in the spring with the blossom ........ you do see a lot of them growing on the roadsides but you may not have known what they were .......

Oh this makes mine look so small. well it was just a stick last year, and it is now about 3 feet (still a stick, but a flowering one ) that is a picture Amy.

Thanks Dd , yours will soon grow they don't take long , at least you have flowers !
26 Apr, 2010
True, we did I think we must have had a frost because the flowers have died.........I did not think they were tender......
26 Apr, 2010
I didn't think they were tender Dd , perhaps it's natural dying back if it's been in flower for some time !
26 Apr, 2010
Dont they last very long when in blossom then Amy?
29 Apr, 2010
No Not very long Dd .. it comes and goes fairly quickly , mine is going off already .. pretty while it lasts though ...:o)
