new plants

today i took out my zebra grass it was a mess after such a bad winter and really couldnt wait to see if it recovered, looked awfull so up it came and went to local nursery for 3 new plants to replace it,perenial pink grans favourite,linaria purpurea cannon went. and malva rosea,

We had a couple of new additions yesterday, Joy went the GC again, but at least I have got my Acer! ;o)

A good choice San . we had to take out another huge Viburnum shrub , today , it's left an enormous gap ... :o(

thanx eileen and amy,, its awfull to lose a plant isnt it amy especially when it takes more than one to replace it,, mind you i didnt mind buying them lol, sorry about your shrub ;o(

I think I will fill the gap with some of the bedding plants I have grown until I can make a proper choice ....

I've lost about 7 plants San, and my Zebra Grass is one of them. I've been leaving it but no sign of new growth.

i only got my zebra grass last year potty and a new baby pampus grass but both gone ;o(( its sad when we loose them especially when not seen them at their best

Ha ha! I have that linaria and mine is about 2cm tall!! Lovely plants, sorry about the zebra grass. I'm just the same, if it's not looking well it has to come out..no patience to wait and see if things will recover!
