Hi Wagger, I was thinking of getting this for my large trellis to give it (and some passion flowers some cover. How do you get on with this plant?
Is it a female?

It must be male - it ramps all over the place. You would certainly need a large trellis as this is only one small part of this plant, it covers about four metres of fence and climbs right up into my neighbour's hideous leydandii! Actually I think it must be a male as it doesn't form cones - so no good for beer.

One of my wife's favourite plants but I think our's is female as it's bit viscious and clingy :-))))

Ouch - I hope your wife's the forgiving sort or I wouldn't fancy your chances! In fact I wouldn't fancy your chances in a room with me either, lol.

I just hide next door's fence. I thought you were supposed to put the arris rails on your own side!
