It reminds me of my grandmother's Magnolia soulangiana which used to bloom in early to mid-February in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Its funny how plants and flowers can remind us of people and places we have met and been to in life :o))))..

Yes, that's so true. : > ) Unfortunately, my grandmother is no longer with us...and her house was sold about 6 years ago.

But many happy memories i bet ..

Yes, it sure does. I was lucky to have two grandmothers that were really into gardening and loved plants! My other grandmother still gardens and loves her plants even though she's in her nineties.
