Chloe used to chase the birds and I had to put a temporary fence around any nest in the garden! Now she just ignores them (or doesn't see them) but I am still careful just in case :)

yes you never know Gee, its when they come down onto ground i will worry, but will check before he goes out and im mostly out there with him.
