No they didn't, however it's unlikely they will do it again. They concreted over the whole area!!

I was really upset about loosing my plants, some are still showing the effects this year. I have a Sophora Microphylla 'Sun King' in that border that is usually glorious now but unfortunately is definately suffering still :-((
