Thanks Yorkshire, Louise, and Sandra it is a perenial and a very attractive plant, the little buds are opening now, but they are really special when they are in their Metalic stage!

Yours looks better than mine Carole , mine is almost dead in fact I have dug it up and have potted up some bits that might grow on but I don't hold out much hope , one piece looks as though it might pull through ... ...

Oh I do hope it revives Amy this was new in March I was hoping it would be hardy!

Ah no wonder it looks so nice and fresh Carole .. I had a look at mine this morning , I do think at least one small piece might be alright :o)

Its beautiful Carole lost both of mine to the winter this one and my yellow one, I cut back, but alas has not come back at all.
Just heard on tv news that this years winter was the most severist for 30 years, which has bought a warmer spring, so as the trees are just comming into bud has given more light to the ground flowers especially the wild anemome and blue bells etc, also the cherry blossom which it more in flower than normal, which would explain why people here have said there seems to be more blossom this year than normal, so even though we have had losses ourselves have bought possitive results in other ways.
