At my seasonal Job, I plant up custom boxes, this one just had color rules, no yellow. These are the sun boxes, they had three shade boxes too. I feel proud on my first creation!

Thanks for the comments. Now I feel even better. :-) It does just get bigger and bigger and more faces are opening. Bright pink stars of geranium, purple whirly osteos. :-) So much fun this job!

Thank you Pansy. It is really great fun and I needed something to do. I get about a month more watching them grow in.

The coleus foliage will make these boxes stunning, I think ;-)

I am very excited for the foliage. The bright pink foliage is alternanthera, I'm excited to see how that one goes too. The big boss sounds delighted to see some colorful foliage and shapes in the baskets. Gets me some job security. It seems all the long timers appreciate having someone around that knows what they are looking at and working with. :-)

Thanks! I'm enjoying it so much, and they seem to appreciate having someone around that knows what they're working with. I may do the planters each year from now on. A pleasure. I have all the greenhouse stock to work with. :-)

I'm really enjoying Valeria, thanks. I will take shots before they get taken off to their summer homes. I just plant and bring up. I'm very pleased with them so far.

Thank you Richard and Volval. They are almost completely in bloom now. Only thing I misjudged was the size of the kong coleus. The leaves just get bigger and bigger. I haven't ever seen such a thing!

" EEEEEkk!" LOL...just trying out my Fay Rae impersonation! With the size of the Kong you will have added dimension to the composition! Where will the boxes be displayed...on a deck? or below is regular window? be prepared to do a little pinching to keep it in check... Wonderful job, Gt.

Its filling in wonderfully. I've already pinched off the coleus twice. We're to the shaping and maintenance stage now. Pickup in two or three weeks. These are the sunny side rail of a deck and there are three others in part shade across the deck front. Who builds a deck in the shade....lol!
