I have to admit that the purple-y flowered one is more to my preference, Wagger. However, the yellow is bright and cheerful, and I shouldn't stick to pink/mauve/purple all the time!

In this case I think the yellow suits the foliage better..... and there are plenty of yellows in your garden - just look back over your pictures. Just off to see what you've put on there today, got very 'behind' over the past weeks. :-)))

My yellow flowers are mostly in the back garden, in the purple/white/gold scheme, but I do have a few elsewhere, yes.
