This was taken just after we built the waterfall. Unfortunately we had a major leak and it is at the moment a work in progress. This was our first attempt and we've learnt alot since then.

Thankyou Yorkshire. I'll post some photos when it's finished. We only have 2 falls working out of 4 at the mo.

This is lovely... I hope your work on the repairs is going well ... :o)

Thankyou Terratoonie. The waterfall progress is very slow. Since sustaining a back injury my gardening is all done in short bursts and with so many other things to do at this time of year I'm guessing it's going to mainly be a mid-summer job.

I love this, the waterfall is lovely, good luck with your repairs and your back injury.

Thankyou Mandym. I have been spurred on by the kind comments of GoY'ers to get the waterfall finished. Although all the rockery is basically the same as it was, (because the rocks are huge and immovable, by us anyway) the actual waterfall looks very different. Fortunately some of the original planting has matured nicely and gives it a well established look. It is almost finished now and when the rain stops I will take some photos.

Looking forward to some photos...
sorry to read that your back is still giving you lots of pain...

Can't wait to see your photos, take care with your back.

I have decided to do a blog on my waterfalland add the photos. Not sure if it will work as I've not done one before.
Terratoonie, my back doesn't give me too much pain now as I know my limits. I do push the boundries a little at times and pay the consequences but on the whole I can remain relatively pain free. :)

Thankyou Michelle. The sound of the water is so restful isn't it?
I hope you get your pump sorted soon. A friend of mine has just picked up a pump and filter free from our local Freecycle, maybe it's worth a look if you have a Freecycle in your area.
I finished my waterfall a couple of days ago but getting the sound right is so important to the overall effect so I have spent the last 24hrs tweeking it for sound. I think I have it now and I've sorted out the lighting tonight too.
I have added a blog about my waterfall.

Oh I think your pond and waterfall are beautiful Sanbaz but I know what you mean, I keep adjusting mine. The most difficult bit is getting the water to flow over the steps rather than under but I have finally managed it. It's only taken 5 years (lol)
