Palmate, beautiful big shrub! We can't grow these these shrubs here...they need too much cold.

That'll teach you for living in a nice warm climate...hehehehe.. With all those palms,jacanda trees and brugmansia's ..Arr Sighhh .................................

LOL!!! : > ) Yes, luckily I can grow many tropical and subtropical plants/shrubs/trees...however, many of the colder-temperate plants/shrubs and trees just refuse to grow here.
When I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, I would see these shrubs occasionally...the climate there just barely gave them enough chilling...and then they needed to be planted on a cool north side of a house or wall.
