It's a lot easier keeping the slugs out of a pot than in the ground.

Sorry I have to resort to the dreaded blue pellets.;-( we grow so many they would be in tatters in no time.

I do too, Daisy - bits of roof tile scattered round the garden which I have to check for dead slugs every morning - eugh! I heard somewhere that spraying hosta leaves with furniture polish puts them off too.

Oh might try that, or is that a joke? lol

I don't think so but can't find anything about it now.

Which variety is this one, we do grow it, but have lost all the labels.....
