Pale yellow, and I have a white one growing with it.

I got the idea of planting two together from a friend's garden - the white and lemon colours blend so well. A real 'mingle'!! :-))

My front garden is lemon and white. This is lovely and I bet it's great with the white.

The white is lagging behind - but there are a lot of buds, so it won't be long. It would be a good one for you!

I had one before actually B but it was a bit sprawling for my tiny front space. love it though! Now I've got the new border it would be good to plant one under the apple tree on the fence......mmmmm......off to the GC for me again today then! I need another petunia anyway, one of my hanging B's fell off the wall....twice.. and one of the plants needs replacing!

What a great excuse! I'm not allowed hanging baskets - the house is listed, and we're not supposed to fix anything to the walls. :-((((

Oh, that's a shame. Mind you, saves you all the watering...you have enough to do methinks!! ;))

...and I guess you could erect some special posts and hang them if you really wanted them......?

I don't think they'd look right in this garden - I had thought about it, Karen - even the possibility of hanging them off trees! (I've seen that done...) OH would curse whenever he cut the grass....:-(
I have a lot of containers, so I'll stick with them.

Well, I'm sure you are right B. Your garden is stunning. I don't think I would have them.....I didn't have any at my old house.....if the front garden wasn't so tiny. I'm not a great fan of bedding. However, the house style 'invites' them I must admit...with the bay window and garage door at the front.

I had one in Kent, and I loved doing it each year. I didn't bother in the winter normally, not sure why not - I just did a beautiful summery one. :-))

I think this is a very pretty yellow I am not a lover of strong yellows, with the exception of Daffs. The flowers go so well with the blue/green foliage.
