I'll have to ask where they got it from, but they probably forgot they even had it! "Excavated" it from behind a dense bramble patch. Kept the Solomon's Seal, though.! :-))

I love your polygonatum, solomans seal. Mine were attacked by sawfly caterpillars a few years back. The little blighters can skeletonise the leaves in a few days. Very appropriate for a pirates den.
