It does need some space, Sandra. I once had it in my garden, and found that it quickly outgrew its spot. tried cutting it back, and lost it. :-(

'Bridal Wreath' has a honey sweet smell too! It makes a smashing statement if you have room for it... a mature plant in full bloom looks like a white fountain and a number of them in a ring (bridal wreath?) makes a magical enclosure!
