The Cherhill White Horse is the 2nd oldest in the Wiltshire horsed, it is situated on the edge of Cherhill Down, off the A4 Colne to Marlbrouggh Road just east of the village of Cherhill, and it is just below the earthwork known as Oldbury Castle, nearby is the Obelisk know as the Lansdowne Monument. So my daughter tells. me.
