this was only small last year to as i only just planted all my garden up last spring, its all grown like mad this year ;o)) strange how the colours change

Weird like you say, wonder if there was a pink seed lurking in the soil and it has grown up alongside the Blue one!

not sure carole i only had the purple one and others have apeared since ;o))

That's freaky! I have exactly the same two colours growing in amongst one another! Must take a pic for you tomoz!

Just reading this San....same thing has happened at my daughters...she has had the purple for a few years, and this year, just as many pink!

I am often finding that aquilegias have colour-changes, such as, a first-flush of white flowers on a red cultivar which later produces red flowers, as on the packet!

I can tell that growing aquilegias is going to be lots of fun!!
