I do know how you feel, my Mum always says her cat is her 'pal' even when the ginger cat hair is all over Mums black skirt and/or trousers ! It's company for her and keeps her occupied.

I'm not really ready for one jet, but at same time always had cats in the house, but on saying that i've been told off a baby 6wks old kitten thats having a bad start in life, and i know its early days, but being on my own i'm finding it hard without Smokey, so perhaps me giving this poor baby kitten a better start than its had in its first 6wks of life perhaps it may help me come to terms with the loss of Smokey.

Oh!! Clarice i did not know that you have lost Smokey...i am so sorry,
i can feel for you...you were expecting it, but it does not make it any better.
Its so very, very hard for you, seeing as Smoky was your only & dearest
companion....Smokey is now at rest `God bless him...
I suppose you have heard all this before, and time & time again, it does not
help, words are hopeless at a time like this....Grieving takes time, they do say it is a healing process...
`What a nice surprise, this little gift from the RSPB..what are you going to
do with your Wildflower seeds, or should i say where are you going to plant

Thanks for your kind words, its true like you say time is a great healer, and no matter what is said it doesnot help, but i'm keeping extra busy doing loads of housework,although it did'nt really need doing, but it as helped a bit, although the house is still very quite, fare enough family come and phone up to see if i'm alright, but it does'nt fill the emptiness of the house, not sure where i'll put the flower seeds yet, can't think straight yet, but i will get there.

I'm sure Smokey would love you to heap all the love & affection you gave him on a little kitten that needs it Carole ... when you're ready.xx

I was thinking the same thing as Fluff, about the Kitten, Clarice...there is
a little kitten just waiting for you, somewhere.. `Have you tried a Rescue
Centre Clarice? It will ease the hurt you are feeling for Smokey, it will not take it away, you will have Smokey in your heart for all time, even if you do get
a kitten, it will never have the Character that Smokey,had, all Animals have
their own Personality. I will let you ponder, on getting a Kitten Clarice?
