got this for the almost black leaves, just watered so a bit droopy lol

Have one of these dark Ipomeas trying to get it to climb and it wont lol

Are these seed grown? I haven't seen them around in my regular haunts.
Dotty - judging by the shape of the leaves these are pretty closely related to the sweet potato. If I'm correct (& I may be wrong), sweet potatos grow best with about 12hrs of daylight, so it may be a thought to give them a more shaded spot. It's just a thought.
DO NOT be tempted to try to eat any of them though, as many members of the Ipomea family are rather POISONOUS!

lol dotty are they ment to climb, i think this is better in pot or ground cover but not a 100% on that ;o))depends on variety
meanie your right they are related to sweet potatoe, i have 3 different ones now but all in pots because can be a thug, thanx for advice, i got them from local nursery ;o))

Ours is in the shade, have grown it inside all winter where it flowered and now it is outside it is just sitting there doing nothing lol
