What a beautiful pink. I must keep my eye out for it. Is it a thug like the orange one?

I can't grow Alstros - well. not so far, they've all failed after their first year! Thugs? Not in my garden - more like delicate invalids that need loads of TLC! LOL.

I wanted something the right colour to fill the gap where 'Ruffled Patty' came out - so this is it! Maybe, just maybe, I'll manage to keep this one! Grindle, it's definitely Louise's fault. LOL.

I am literally mad about Alstroemerias. As it happens I have been buying a bouquet every two weeks or so. They seem to last so long. Now question to you, if you dont mind. If I bought a plant for the garden would it have to come in for winter, I dont have a greenhouse. I know this isn't the question page, but thought, as you showed this beauty of yours I can ask

Of course I don't mind, Titchy - they 'should' be hardy and come back each year in your garden. No, you wouldn't need to bring it in every winter.

I think the reason I don't do well with Alstros is that I have snails galore, and they nibble the new shoots as they appear.

Louise1 is very good with them - can I suggest that you send her a PM and ask her advice for the best way of looking after them?

I will do and thanks for your advice.
