Verbascum are another range of plants entirely and nothing like hollyhocks.
If you go to the Thompson and Morgan, Suttons Seeds or Mr. Fothergill websites you will be able to request a catalogue which will have Verbascum seeds listed although if you only want one or two plants you would be better off going to a garden centre or nursery and buying plants.

thanks toto , no i've not heard of that name of plant before,i will definately look out for some plants ,as i've never grown anything from seed, i would not no how to, i;ve not been on line until tonight ,i wished i'd seen you answer as my neighbours took me to columbia road today, i'd died and gone to heaven LOL,as i could have asked if they had any. i did buy a wonderful hydrangea paniculata magical moonlight,i'd never seen one before , it's a nice esablished plant, i bought it as they were shutting up £5 what a bargin.also a clematis margaret hunt -2 solanum 1 was the blue the other was aureavariegata white with varigated folage, hope you had a good weekend.next week i hope to go to cruz hill at enfield have yoy heard of it, ( i might have spelt things wrong, not to many i hope? )

Glad you enjoyed yourself at the nursery and hope you do at Cruz Hill next week. I've not heard of Cruz Hill but that doesn't mean a lot.
