Ive got this Amy, just two flowers at the mo but covered in buds this year. Do you find the snails just love them :-(

Dawn i've never seen a snail near mine , what do they do , do they crawl up the trunk ? this is about 15 ft high ....... I love walking in the garden in the evening when you get all these heavenly scents .......

It is Mushy .. I have a small one growing next to it which I think is either a runner or it has self seeded , it's about 1 metre high , I will have a go at moving it in the autumn .......

Hi Amy, yes, the snails must climb the trunk and appear all over it. We've put a grease band on it this time though. Mine is about 6 feet tall so lots more growing to come then.

Hi Dawn , they are naughty little things aren't they , I hope the grease band works for you .. I haven't seen one on mine i'm pleased to say !

I think it must be working Amy, no sign of snails this year, in the past we've had about 20 on it at one time.

I hope it works for you Dawn , thats a lot of snails in one go !
