Hail and thunder came on suddenly and shredded up the garden. This has been occuring every few days for two weeks. Things are looking toughened up and chilly.

We are hot and mild in the summer, you wouldn't know you were in Alaska other than night never coming. These thunderstorms are unusual for us though. They remind me of childhood in the mountains of Idaho.

Yes, cold and wet not nice, but not quite as unpleasant as the storms you are having!

Sorry to hear that the rain continues, though with a peek or two of sun. :-) We do get some good sun, but the storms coming in are really terrible, fast and hard and loud. At least I haven't had to water much.

This storm look pretty intense. I know this spring we're having very strange weather here in San Diego also. Cooler than normal, windy and cloudy weather.

The storm made a terrible mess. Ripped the garden up. Just now starting to get blooms back, though the damaged foliage is not recovering, just have to remove it from what I can.

Hope your plants recover soon!
Hail is one of the worst weather conditions. It's like ice bullets and does so much damage. We have at least one hail storm a year here...usually in Jan or Feb.

Greenthumb, all this hail and rain looks so terribly familiar (in spite of the difference in our climates!).
